The Song

I still remember what she sang;

On that dark day and in that dark moment.

She sang–

Of love, life and the basic outlook.

Of beauty–inner and outer.

Of the light and its absence.

Of the teary eyes turned skyward for a message.

And lastly, she sang of hope and a new time coming.

Then slowly, step by step, she sang her way into my heart.

Exhausted Feelings

An elicited scream; a startled jolt.
The calm shatters; the soul squirms.
Serenity–of mind and heart
Disturbed, with a low key fight.
A curt reply in edgeways,
Bears a room full of wrath.
The first tears escapes, but hiden
Under layers and layers of anger;
Hidden and placed well and carefully
Under scrutiny–to avoid a broken spirit.

Squirt (aka ‘offspring!’) to raise up the mood in here! He’s so damn cute! *cheery mode*

Last Words

Nib on paper, frozen hand and blank mind.

Tilted head, mouth agape and desperate eyes.

Searching, searching, in the blank pages she had bind,

Tired of waiting still, for promising lies.

she sits, she stands, walks round about,

Pen in hand, nib on paper, paper between pages.

Her legs give away; knees bleed, yet none a shout.

Rosy ,lips mutter phrases–those candid phrases.

And then she writes and the ink quietly spreads.

She stops, she sits, and starts again.

For days together she writes; to stop again she dreads,

Little food or water she takes, since her vigour she did gain.

But alas she stopped; her lips turned blue,

And was returned to dust, before she grew.
